DigitLadderPop
DigitLadderPop is an offline number-chain puzzle game set on a sunken reef. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
DigitLadderPop does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server.
Information we collect
None. The app asks for no name, no email address, no phone number and no sign-in of any kind. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash-reporting SDK compiled into the app, so there is nothing for us to receive.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, DigitLadderPop stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- Your progress through the ninety reef depths — stars earned, best score and best pop count per depth, kept in a local SQLite database (
reef_abyss.db). - Run state and totals used by the Tide Forge upgrades, the daily tribute and the valor badges, stored as key/value rows in that same local database.
- Accessibility and display preferences — colour-blind shape tags, reduced motion, larger digits and the ladder-trail toggle.
- A one-time flag recording that you have seen the tutorial, so it is not shown again.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to DigitLadderPop or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
On Android the manifest declares the standard INTERNET permission, which a Flutter build includes by default. DigitLadderPop contains no networking code and never opens a connection, so the permission is never exercised. No other permission is declared or requested — no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts, no photo library and no storage access outside the app's own private sandbox. On iOS the app requests no permissions at all.
Network use
None. The app is fully offline. It ships with no HTTP client, no socket code and no backend of any kind. Every level, image and sound is bundled inside the app package, so DigitLadderPop works identically in airplane mode. Nothing about your play is ever uploaded.
Third-party services
None. The app integrates no analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or A/B-testing SDK. There are no in-app purchases and therefore no billing library. The only third-party code in the build consists of open-source Flutter UI and local-storage packages that run entirely on your device and make no network calls. One feature does hand data to another app: if you choose to share a score, Android or iOS passes the text you are sharing to whichever app you pick. That happens only when you tap share, and the destination app's own privacy policy governs it from that point.
Children's privacy
DigitLadderPop is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included. Because nothing is collected, transmitted or shared, the app does not knowingly or unknowingly gather personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K). There is no chat, no user-generated content shared between players, no advertising and no profiling.
Your rights
Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing held on a server for us to look up, export or delete. You are in full control: clearing the app's storage from your device settings resets progress and preferences, and uninstalling DigitLadderPop removes every byte it has written, permanently. No copy survives anywhere else.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
