# Tipico — Privacy

updated:2026-10-02 scope:on-device only tldr:Tipico does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no network code at all. contact:[email protected]

// Tipico is a single-player word puzzle game in which you carve word glyphs on the flooding tablets of the Nile.

[01] Information collected // inputs

None. Tipico has no sign-up, no account, no login and no profile. It never asks for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or any other identifier, and it contains no code that would send such data anywhere.

[02] Local storage // on-device

Kept in OS-level local storage on your device, never uploaded:

  • Puzzle progress — which tablets you have completed, your best score per tablet, and the words you have already found.
  • Achievements — which relics you have unlocked and when you unlocked them.
  • Your own notes — any marginalia you type against a puzzle stays on the device.
  • App settings — sound, haptics and display preferences, stored as simple key/value pairs.
  • All of the above lives in a local SQLite database inside the app's private storage sandbox, which no other app on the device can read.

Uninstalling the app deletes every byte.

[03] Permissions // runtime

None. The Android manifest declares no runtime permissions and the iOS build declares no usage descriptions, so the system never prompts you for access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or storage. Tipico could not reach any of them even if it tried.

[04] Network // egress

Tipico is fully offline. The app bundles no HTTP client, no socket code and no backend SDK — there is no server for it to talk to, and it works identically in airplane mode. The one place content can leave the app is the system share sheet: if you choose to share a result, Android or iOS hands your text to whichever app you pick, and what happens to it after that is governed by that app's privacy policy, not ours.

[05] Third parties // vendors

None are integrated. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter, no attribution or A/B testing library, and no in-app purchase billing. The third-party packages Tipico does ship are local-only utilities: a local database (sqflite), state management (flutter_bloc), layout helpers and the platform share sheet (share_plus). None of them phone home.

[06] Children // coppa/gdpr-k

Tipico is suitable for all ages. Because it collects nothing, transmits nothing and shows no advertising, there is no personal data belonging to a child — or to anyone else — for us to hold, sell or disclose. This satisfies COPPA and the GDPR provisions on children's data by design rather than by promise.

[07] Your rights // you

Because every byte the app writes stays on your device, you are in complete control of it without needing to ask us. To erase your progress from inside the app, use the reset option in Settings. To erase everything at once, clear the app's storage in your device settings or uninstall Tipico — both remove the local database and every note in it permanently. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf.

[08] Changes // changelog

If this policy changes, the updated field at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes are also noted in the app's release notes.
